Help an enemy in their time of need will release God’s favour into your life.
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you. Pr25:22. The Lord’s ways are so contrary to the worlds ways. How do you think you’d feel if you helped an enemy you saw was struggling. You would be releasing God’s love into the situation that would shame them as they look at how they’ve treated you. Whilst they may not say anything they’ll know! At the same time you’ll be releasing God’s peace into your own life, as you won’t have revelled in their distress, passed judgement, or allowed your Spirit to dwell on those things that could cause you anxiety. God’s ways are best even though we may not see it at the time. Thank God today that He is always there for us even when we mess up. So let’s always try to reach out to others with the love that God’s shown us. Prayerchair.org
