It’s not your possessions or position that interests God, but your heart
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Sam 16:7. It’s not your possessions or position that interests God but your heart. He will not look at what you have, but at what you did with those things and with the gifts and talents He has given you. He will ask you, when I was hungry did you feed me, when I was sick did you comfort me and when I was in prison did you visit me. The glitz and glam of this world mean nothing to God, but the acts of the heart have immense value to God. Your acts of love towards others reveals God in you that will draw others to Jesus. Praise God today that He is our all sufficient one in every area of our life, and as we give of ourselves to others, God’s love will keep filling us to overflowing.
