Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world.” Jn 18:36. Jesus came to earth to reconcile man to God. If the severity of mans eternal destiny and separation was not a reality, Jesus would not have died for our sin, there would have been no point. But Jesus through His own death in the natural put to death mans death in the spiritual. Jesus made it possible for each of us to eradicate those things in our past that separated us from God and to live under His grace, favour, peace and love forever as we remain and believe in Him. We should never diminish the Christian message of what an awesome thing Jesus has done for us otherwise we remove the power of the cross to change lives. Worship Him today and allow the joy of what Jesus has done for you fill you to overflowing.
