Jesus asks us to let our “Yes” be “Yes” and our “No” be “No”

Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one. Mat 5:37. Your words should flow from your heart and reflect what you really do mean. Yes should mean Yes and No should mean No. Don’t manipulate words to get your own way or say what you don’t mean. It’s better to be upfront than change your mind later or to say something that you think others want to hear. Your words impact your integrity. People will judge you by what you actually do against what you say you will do. So be known as a person with a reputation of reliability, honesty and integrity in all that you do. Don’t let others down intentionally, if plans do change, give others as much notice as possible. Be a person that others look up to and not down on. Praise God today that His words are true and dependable always, that we can constantly rely on no matter what is going on in our life. Prayerchair.org
