Jesus fulfilled God’s plan of redemption for humanity at Easter

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus, God’s greatest gift to humanity. At Easter we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. He accomplished what no man could do. God sent Jesus into the world to pay a price that we couldn’t pay. Jesus died on a cross for the sins of humanity past,present and future so that we could be made right with God. Death could not hold Him, and we remember His resurrection on Easter Sunday to remind us that Jesus defeated death once and for all, for all those who believe in Him. As we choose to follow Jesus we can experience His peace and love in our life that will last forever.
