Jesus made us friends with God

For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. Rom 5:10-11. You are now a friend of God. Jesus took our sin, the barrier between us and God to the cross in His death, and filled us with new resurrection life when He arose from the dead. We are now children of the most High God, with access to the throne of grace in our times of need. We can enjoy a personal relationship with God and come into His presence as we spend time with Him and experience His pure love and peace filling our life.
