Keep your eyes on Jesus and not on life’s storms to keep your peace

Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm. Mat8:24-26. With Jesus in our heart we should never be afraid. Regardless of what’s going on around us, it’s what’s happening on the inside that’s most important. Whilst we trust Jesus regardless of the storms around us, we can keep our peace. As we hold onto Him and not our problems, Jesus will calm the storms. Keep your eyes on Jesus and not on the storms and His peace will be your comfort. Refuse to dwell on what you see, but on God who can change everything. Praise God today that as we keep our eyes on Him, He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Prayerchair.org
