Knowledge of God is not enough, we are called into a personal relationship with Jesus

When the master of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. You will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Lord, open the door for us!’ But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ Then you will say, ‘But we ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’ And he will reply, ‘I tell you, I don’t know you or where you come from. Get away from me, all you who do evil.’ Lk 13:25-27. Familiarity or knowledge of God is not enough. We are called to intimacy with God where we have a personal relationship with Jesus. When we walk with God, His desires will become our desires, it will become our hearts desire to walk in His ways and to live a life that will please Him. Praise God today that He has so much more for us, and as we rejoice with Jesus in our heart, and set aside those things that cause us to stumble, we can step up into the fulfilment of the plans He has for our life.
