Placing God first in our life is our most important priority
“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. Mat6:24. This is about priorities, we need to recognise that we must put the Lord first in our life ahead of our desires for material gain. Both can’t be first in our life. There may come a time in your life where you’ll need to make a crucial decision between your finances and God’s leading, as you can’t serve both. The Lord is not saying you can’t accumulate wealth, but rather this can never be more important than the Lord in your life. The Lord orders our steps and as we seek him, He’ll direct our finances. Wealth in the hands of a Godly person is just another way to bless others as God leads. Praise God today that as we keep Him as our greatest priority, He will order everything else in our life including our finances. Prayerchair.org
