Self discipline helps us to reposition our life
You will say, “How I hated discipline! If only I had not ignored all the warnings! Prov 5:12. Discipline gives us an opportunity to reposition our lives. If we’re not careful we can develop bad habits that will lead to difficulties in life. Left unchecked we can find ourselves trapped in excesses such as too much drinking or drugs. Bad habits can also involve wrong thinking such as negative thinking, short temperedness or even overspending on credit. This is not God’s way. If we learn to live a disciplined lifestyle we’ll live in peace with those around us and position ourselves for success. As we choose to discipline ourselves it may be hard at first, but the fruit that will cone from this will be worth it. Praise God today that as we choose to take control of areas in our life that we’ve struggled with, God will bring us into a place of victory as we keep persevering and trusting Him. Prayerchair.org
