Stand out from the crowd and be a giver and not a taker

Give to those who ask, and don’t turn away from those who want to borrow. Mat 5:42. Jesus challenges us to step out of the box and to be the blessing that  the world won’t be. We walk past homeless people everyday and have ample opportunity to be a blessing. If you don’t want to give money, then carry chocolate bars or buy them a coffee or some food. We can be such a blessing every day, where just a little for us, can mean so much to someone else. We are being called to stand out from the world, to let God’s love shine through us in whatever we do and how we live. When you let God’s love flow through you, you will also be filled and blessed by the love of God. One of God’s principle for blessing is that the more you give from your heart, the more you will receive. Praise God today for His abundant grace and favour. Be the joy in someone’s life everyday and bless someone you otherwise wouldn’t.
