Your words shape your world
The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Pr 12:18. Your words are your world, people not only respond to what you say but how you say it. You create an atmosphere that’s in your home, your work place wherever you go. If you’re curt, sarcastic or argumentative you’ll create an atmosphere of heaviness, with those around you are on edge or walking on eggshells to avoid a harsh response. God has given you the ability to use words wisely, to love, to reconcile, to heal and to bring comfort. Your words can shape your world and add colour to your life. You’re a child of God and it’s His desire that you’re a blessing to others. One day we’ll all need to give an account for our careless words, so be wise and let your words be filtered through God’s love.
