And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the new wine would burst the wineskins, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine must be stored in new wineskins. But no one who drinks the old wine seems to want the new wine. ‘The old is just fine,’ they say.” Lk5:37-39. God cannot do something new in your life if you want keep holding onto your old attitudes and old ways of doing things. We have to accept that for God to do more in our life we must be willing to change. We must step out of our comfort zone and become pliable in God’s hands. We must be willing to see things differently and not just from our own perspective. God’s best will always involve us being stretched so that God can show us how much more He can do through our life when we’ve gone as far as we think we can go. Praise God today that He desires so much more for our life if we are willing to change and trust Him.
