Do to others as you would like them to do to you

Do to others as you would like them to do to you. Lk6:31. Gods Word tells us to love others as ourselves therefore our only response can be to deal with others as we would have them deal with us. God poured out His mercy on us that whilst we were sinners Christ died for us and we have been redeemed by grace,Gods unmerited favour. So when situations arise that inflame us,think how would you like the situation to pan out if the situation was reversed,or what would Jesus do. What would Jesus who is full of love, compassion, grace and mercy do in your situation? He would seek forgiveness instead of revenge or reconciliation rather than seperation. He knows we are capable of so much more so we should try and see thing His way that will create greater joy, peace and happiness in our life. Thank God today that His love has covered all our failings and ask Him to help us follow Jesus’ example in dealing with others.
