Don’t be too quick to find faults in others
“And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying, ‘Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye. Lk 6:41-42. Sometimes we are too quick to spot others faults and problems. A critical eye towards others is not good especially when we have problems of our own we must deal with first. Problems others are dealing with are not always as simple as they may appear, we only need to look at problems we have dealt with or are going through to understand that. We must get our own lives right before offering to help others with their problems. Praise God today for His patience, love and mercy towards us that is always there to guide us through life’s issues.
