God is our place of refuge

Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, "You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life. Psalm 142:5.

God is our hiding place where we can just rest in His presence and His peace. We should often take time out and just rest in God. It's a time when we can share our heart with Him and spend time listening to His guidance and affirmation. We can often carry so much on ourselves, whilst also trying to help others, that we really do need time out to unload our burdens and to rest in His peace, and to make sure we keep our heart right before Him. In His presence God will be our confidence who will strengthen us and guide us. He will reaffirm that we are precious in His sight with God given gifts and talents, and a plan and purpose, to live a blessed and fulfilled life as we keep close to Him. Praise God today that He is our refuge, our peace, and hope in all situations as we keep close to Him.
