God wants us to find time to rest

On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work.And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation. Genesis 2:2-3.

We all need to find time to rest. With the busyness of life there is always more to be done. But we all need time out. We need time to gather our thoughts, we need time with God to restore our peace and to bring balance back into our life. We need time out so that the anxieties of life don't keep building up until they start to negatively impact every area of our life. That is not God's way. If God needed a day of rest, so do you! During times of rest God will speak to you on better ways to do things. Thank God today, that it's His design for us to find time to rest each week, and to draw closer to Him, so that we can live a more peaceful and fuller life.
