God wants us to have rest

The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength. Psalm 23:1-3a.
God wants you to have rest, and in that rest He'll renew your strength. We live in a world where things happen so quickly, and there are so many sources of anxiety and stress that can weigh us down. As we choose to take time out and wait on God, and pray, and read His Word, He'll fill us with His peace. He'll give us new perspectives on situations, and new ideas that will guide us. He'll strengthen us to keep going and help us not to waste our time and energy going over and over the same things. Your walk with God is relational, and with Jesus in your heart, together, you can do amazing things without losing your peace. Praise God today that He desires to fill our life with peace and to renew our strength as we wait on Him.
