If we miss God, we miss life
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? Mat 16:26. We can live a life striving for the things that the world has to offer, that may never come, and then lose everything for eternity. It’s not about materiality, but about the issues of the heart. God promises us an eternal future with Him, and as we allow His love to fill our life, we will have all we need, He will be our strength, joy, and hope for today and hope forever. As His love fills us, it will overflow and we will love others and touch them with His love. It’s our relationship with Jesus and the lives we touch that matters, and this is what we will take with us into eternity. Praise God today that He knows all we need even before we ask Him, and as we keep our eyes on Him, and make Him first in our life, everything in our life will fall into place now and for eternity.
