It’s in our times of difficulty we realise our need for God
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say, “He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness.” 1 Cor 3:19. It’s at times like this we realise that we are vulnerable and that all our material accumulation and popularity amounts to nothing. In fact we begin to focus on what God wants us to focus on. We realise the importance of family as we look out for each other and help our neighbour, and those who are struggling. We realise that human effort alone is not enough, but as we put our trust in God who knows and sees all things, we will find peace in our darkened world. God will make a way as we trust His wisdom and act wisely at this time, and His protection will go with us as He guides our steps. Fear not, trust God. Praise God today that He is with us in our times of vulnerability and need, and as we trust Him, He will guide our steps and protect us. Prayerchair.org
