Jesus is the truth that can set you free

Jesus said to the people who believed in him, "You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:31-32.

It is not enough just to know the truth about Jesus and His teachings, but we must obey and walk in that truth. It's only in the doing and walking in God's truth that we'll truly find freedom. When we walk in His ways, burdens will be lifted, chains will be broken, and God's hand will be released to move unhindered in our life. When we do what God puts on our heart, we'll break the bonds where sin has held us back, or afflicted us with guilt. Jesus wants us to be free. He wants us to be transformed by His word as we reflect on it and allow it to change our thinking and then to act on it. Praise God today that as we allow the truth of Jesus to transform us and act on it, we can walk in true freedom always.
