"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' "He will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' Matthew 25:44-45.
Jesus looks at what we do for others as what we do for Him. Our relationships matter, our hearts towards the stranger in the street, our work colleagues and our family matters. What we do for them matters. God is not interested in what the world sees as success in terms of high flying career or great wealth, but rather in how much you love Him and show that love towards others. The closer we are to Jesus the more we will see others and their needs through His eyes. Praise God today that as we make time for others and help them in their time of need, we are not only blessing them, but blessing God who sees all things.
