Jesus wants to give you rest

Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Mathew 11:28-29.

Jesus wants to give you rest. He wants you to stop struggling, to stop resisting Him or trying to find solace in the ways of the world that will only deepen your plight. Jesus wants you to come to Him just as you are. He offers you salvation, freedom from the past and forgiveness, so that you can see the way ahead with a fresh start. As you come to Him, He'll guide your feet onto steady paths so that you can walk in His ways that will fill you with His peace. He'll carry your struggles as you give them to Him and keep your eyes on Him. Thank Jesus today that He desires to carry our burdens and to give us rest as we choose to walk with Him and to trust Him.
