Jesus wants to share your burdens

Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Mathew 11:29.

Jesus wants to share your burdens. A yoke was a piece of wood that went over the shoulders of 2 oxen so that pulling together the load was easier. When we take on His yoke, and allow Him to guide us, He'll lead us in all truth. At times He'll take us on unfamiliar paths because He knows we can do so much more than our own belief in ourselves. But when we try to go in a different direction to His leading, our burdens can suddenly increase, as we pull against the yoke, and are no longer walking in unison. We must trust Him, as sometimes the darkest hour is before the dawn and God knows the way, even though we may not see it. Praise God today that He wants to share our burdens, to lighten our load and to be with us always, so that together we can live the best life possible.
