Never forget that Jesus is in your boat, your life
Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm. Mat 8:24-26. Jesus slept through the storm because He knew He had no cause to be afraid. The apostles who had been with Jesus were still afraid, yet they should have known that nothing bad would happen to them while Jesus was with them. We too can be totally stressed and flap about like the apostles, even when Jesus is right next to us,in our boat,in our life, closer than the air we breathe. We must learn to rest in what we know and not what we see, as Jesus will never let you down. Thank Jesus today that He is always with us, protecting and guiding us and will never fail us.
