Pride can lead to conflict but those who take advice are wise

Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise. Proverbs 13:10.

Sometimes we can think we're right or that our way is the only way, when in reality we may be pushing for what we want without any regard for the opinions of others. At those times it's good to seek the advice of those we trust to make sure we're looking at things in the right way. God desires that we live at peace with others, and at times we can be the problem, and not the other side. At these times we need to learn to walk in humility where we can accept that others may see what we can't see. As we willingly seek advice and alternative ways to address conflict, God will bless us in our efforts and help us to make a way. Be prayerful in everything that you do and God will guide your steps. Praise God today that as we allow Him to guide our hearts and recognize that sometimes we can be wrong, God will make a way.
