Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise. Proverbs 13:10.

The Proud always think they're right and don't need to take advice from others. This creates conflict in every area of their life as there are many ways to do things and sometimes others can see what they can't. God wants us to be wise and to walk in humility ready to seek and consider the advice of others who may know better so that we'll be poised to make wiser decisions. Sometimes God will bring others across our path to speak into our life the wisdom we need at that time. Sadly, when the Proud fall, it will often be huge, as their own pride will blindside them to their destructive behaviours or to the dangers of the risks they are taking. Praise God today that as we spend time with Him, and are willing to walk humbly and to seek advice of others when we need it, our life will be blessed as we make wiser decisions.
