The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way? Proverbs 20:24.

In the city I'll take the underground metro as it gets me quickly to where I am going. But when there's a problem, I need to take a bus that winds slowly through unfamiliar streets to get to where I need to be. Sometimes God needs to do that with us, to take us on a detour through unfamiliar places, as there's been problems in our life that God needs to help us work through. There may be bridges and deserts to cross, mountains to climb, but if we trust God, we'll come through prepared and ready for what God has next for us. He'll strengthen us and fill us with His joy and peace. So trust Him, and remember, that the darkest hour is just before the dawn, so keep going and never give up. Praise God today that as we keep close to Him, He'll always guide us even though we may not know where we're going.
