The more God like we become the closer we come to fulfilling our destiny in Him

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Eph 5:1. God is interested in changing you more than He is in changing your circumstances. As you learn to make the most of every situation, you will shine and eventually rise above your difficulties. We are shaped by our circumstances, whilst we can’t control what happens to us, we can control how we respond. As we look to Jesus in all situations and ask ourselves “What would Jesus do?”, we will become more like Him everyday. As we keep looking to Him and trusting Him, our heart will change and our peace will increase as we release our situation into His care. God’s plans for us are much bigger that we can imagine, and unless we are willing to change, our circumstances won’t change either.
