To be a blessing you must be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry
Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Jam 1:19. We have two ears and one mouth let’s use them in that proportion. We must make an effort to listen carefully and not only to hear what we want to hear. We must also then be slow to speak allowing time to gather our thoughts and words carefully. By doing this we will minimise much of the conflicts and arguments that can so easily ensnare us. We must also be patient and slow to anger allowing room for God’s love and His wisdom to guide you and to flow through you. God desires that we live in unity and harmony with one another and to be a blessing. Let your words sow life and encouragement into the lives of others. Praise God today that He is always there for us, who hears our prayers, guides our steps and gives us wisdom and understanding when dealing with others. Prayerchair.org
