We need to lay down our life to receive God’s best
Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. Anyone who wants to be my disciple must follow me Jn12:25-26a. When we go our own way or pursue our own selfish ambitions and desires, sometime at the cost of others, we create a gulf between ourselves and God. Jesus came to give us life to the full, He knows how easily we can be led down self destructive paths. He has a perfect plan and purpose for every life. He gives us wisdom when we ask and has given us His Word as a road map for life to guide us and lead us into the fulfilment, joy, happiness and peace that only He can give. Praise Him today that His way is best, and that as we lay down our life and follow Him, He will move powerfully on our life. We may not always understand what is happening but as long as we keep our eyes on Him, we will live the best life possible.
