We need to serve before we can lead

He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said, "Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else." Mark 9:35.

Jesus came to serve humanity and not to be served. God's Word speaks much about serving and very little about leading, yet today the opposite is true. There are so many courses about leadership and very little about serving. It would appear that pleasing self is more important than serving others, yet biblically the opposite is true. It's only through serving and becoming a blessing that you'll be truly blessed and filled with joy. As you serve others, you'll keep a right heart and through your natural leadership giftings, promotion will follow. If you're promoted too soon, pride may capture your heart and you'll neglect the ones you were called to serve. Praise God today that He'll promote us in His time as we keep close to Him.

Want to get involved?Contact us

Come and join us on the streets on a Saturday to see if this is something you would like to become involved with.

We hold regular training days to ensure everyone who ministers on the streets is given the training they require.

If street evangelism is not your calling we also need intercessors to pray for the teams as well as website and admin assistance.

Thanks, we will be intouch soon.
