We remember that Jesus defeated death at Easter
But as they arrived, they looked up and saw that the stone, which was very large, had already been rolled aside. Mk 16:4. On Easter Sunday we remember that Jesus rose from the dead. Death could not hold him down, the stone in front of His tomb had been rolled away and Jesus had defeated death once and for all, for all those who put their faith in Him. He had fulfilled God’s plans for the redemption of mankind so you and I can live a victorious life with no fear of death, in the fullness and reality of the resurrection life that God had always intended for us. We have been given spiritual authority and victory as detailed in God’s love letter to us, His Holy Bible, so we can now live free from the past bondages of sin, heartaches and disappointments in our life. Praise God today that as we place our faith in Jesus we can live in the resurrection life that God had always intended for us. Prayerchair.org
