We will live the best life possible if we submit to God’s will

Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Mk14:36. When we pray we must be willing to submit to God’s direction. In the garden of Gethsemane Jesus was overwhelmed with sorrow and anguish as He knew He would soon be captured and crucified to carry the sins of the world to redeem humanity. Yet as He asked His Father to take this cup from Him, He was ready to submit to the Fathers will. As we pray we can bring all our concerns to God, but we must also be willing to submit to His will for our life. He knows the beginning from the end. He sees the bridge we may have to first cross before we can receive our answer, or the peril around the corner if He granted our prayer now. Praise God today that as we trust Him and accept His direction to our prayers, His peace will fill us as He only desires what’s best for our life. Prayerchair.org
