Wisdom is one of God's greatest gifts for you

Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer. Proverbs 9:11-12.

Wisdom is one of God's greatest gifts to us. If we need more wisdom, God said He would give it to us in James 1:5, but we must follow His guidance without wavering, as He can see what we can't. Whilst we can't control what happens to us, we can control our response. Wisdom is patient and listens, it does not respond quickly out of emotion but considers its words. Wisdom doesn't act hastily but considers all of the facts and prays about important decisions. God desires the very best for our life that will include learning to step up so we can keep growing to become the people God intended us to be. Praise God today that as we spend time in His Word and pray about important decisions, He will give us the wisdom we need.
