With God we can rise above all the trials of life

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” Jn 16:33. Jesus tells us that we will have troubles in the world, our faith in God doesn’t preclude us from life’s problems. Unfortunately we live in a world where bad things happen to good people, but Jesus is our advocate and our saviour who goes before us. We must place our confidence in Him and realise that God is bigger than any situation we could possibly face. As we rest in our confidence in Him, let your praises for what He has done and what He will do always be on your lips. This will position your heart and focus on Him, so that you will retain your peace no matter what storms of life you may be walking through. Praise God today that He is our peace in all situations, and that our confidence in Him will never fail us.
