With Jesus in our heart we can learn to be content in all situations

for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:11b-13.

With Jesus in our heart there is a quiet place of confidence that regardless of what we are going through God will make a way. In that place we can learn to be content so that we don't allow life's worries to steal our joy or peace. We recognize that God will provide for all our needs according to His riches in glory. Being content also recognizes that God is always with us, and will bring us through whatever trials we may face, even if we can't yet see a way through. Praise God today that we can rest in Him regardless of what's going on in our life as He'll always make a way.
