You must act on God’s Word to receive

As he entered a village there, ten lepers stood at a distance, crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. LK 16:12-14. We must believe and act on our belief to receive. The lepers were cleansed as they acted on their belief. When Jesus directed them to present themselves to the priests they were still covered in leprosy, but its when they acted on Jesus word and started walking to present themselves to the priests that they were progressively healed. It’s when we put our faith in motion and act on God’s promises, even though we haven’t received it yet, that it will come to pass. Praise God today that His Word is alive and active, and as we believe and stand on His Word, and step out in faith believing that God’s promises are for us today that we will receive those promises from God.
