You were created to be a blessing

Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The Lord rescues them when they are in trouble. Psalm 41:1.

You were created to be a blessing. God has put His heart inside of you so that what stirs Him should stir you. As you see others in need don't just pass them by, but follow your heart and bless them in some way, whether you can give them time, some food or whatever they need. Whilst we can't unravel a lifetime of difficulties in the lives of others, we can make a difference in the moment, to let the love of God shine through your life in a practical way. As you help others, God will also help you. A generous person always seems to have more than enough, as you can never out give God. Make time in your day to be the difference in someone else's life, a coffee on a cold day can be such a blessing. Praise God today that He has given us the ability to bless others as He has blessed us.
