God sees the heart
The Pharisees, who dearly loved their money, heard all this and scoffed at him. Then he said to them, “You like to appear righteous in public, but God knows your hearts. What this world honors is detestable in the sight of God. Lk 16:14-15. The world honours those with fame and wealth. It disregards the hearts of men and those who are truly concerned with making a difference. There are thousands of mother Theresa’s making a difference in the world from all walks of life that are unsung heroes in Gods eyes. Yet almost every music, movie star or sports idol will be lifted up and their lives splashed across all kinds of media. Yet its what’s in the heart of man that God sees. Salvation is the only ultimate success whist anything else is a total loss. Praise God today that in His eyes you are beautiful beyond measure and that you are filled with His peace and love that is your true measure of success.
