An open rebuke is better than hidden love! Proverbs 24:5.

It's better to express how you feel and find out exactly where you stand than to carry a burden that continually steals your peace. God wants you to live in His perfect peace of openness and clarity where things aren't hidden. Sometimes the answer will be painful and not what you expect, but atleast then you can make whatever adjustments you need and move on. Unrequited love is painful so it is better to know openly where you stand than to hide your feelings indefinitely. It's better to ask your boss about that promotion you hope for than to wait, atleast that way you can find out if you need to do anything else to secure it when it's available, than to miss out and be even moredisappointed. Praise God today that He only wants your best, and as you speak openly about your feelings and expectations you will always know where you stand.
