Come to Jesus just as you are

Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. Mat 27-50-51a. Scoffers yelled at Jesus on the cross if you’re the son of God, come down and save yourself, but He  didn’t come to save himself, He came to save us. When the curtain in the inner court was torn in two it ended the separation between God and man. Jesus has made it possible for us to come directly before the Father. Jesus is our only mediator who petitions the Father on our behalf. Jesus’ final words before he ascended into heaven were “And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Mat 28:20b. Thank Jesus for the cross today. Come to Jesus, just as you are. He is waiting, arms outstretched ready to embrace you. Pour out your heart to Him, allow the balm of His love to heal your hurts and to move in your needs today.
