Don’t look for excuses, but look to Jesus, He is our way forward

Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. Jn11:21. Jesus is our more than enough. Often we look for excuses, If only I had more opportunities, or if only I had more money.. But we can’t look to excuses for something not going as we expected, but we must look to God who can make a way. Jesus waited until Lazarus had died before visiting Bethany so that God’s glory could be fully revealed, so they would believe. In the same way the journey we’re on is also crucial, so that as we look to Him, God’s glory can be revealed in our life, not just for our sake but for others too. What God does in our life is a witness to others. We are where we are, so let’s not analyse the past, but let’s be Christ centred looking forward to what God can do. Praise God today that He is more than able and more than enough to meet all our needs regardless of what’s going on in our life.
