And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? Mat 16:26. We were created for relationship with God and with others. It was never God’s intention that we would live our lives without Him. Our relationship with God is about the heart that changes our outlook towards God, our world and others around us. If we reject God and Jesus in this life,He will step back from us and not accept us in the next life. Heaven is a choice we need to make now, it is always ours to make. God desires to enrich our lives and those of others through us. He has so much more for us and the notion that “we have it all” based on material possessions is very shallow and excludes the best that life truly has to offer. Praise God thoday that His plans for us are wonderfully beyond our comprehension and that as we continue to trust Him – His best for us is yet to come!!
