Fear not, Jesus will go before you

In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free. The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Yes, the LORD is for me; he will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes. PS 118:5-9. People will let you down, family will let you down, governments and employers will let you down, but Jesus will never fail you. He is your strength and your rock. As you put your hope and trust in Him, your confidence will rise, He is the lifter of your head, and as you keep your eyes in Him His peace will fill your heart as He goes before you. Praise God today that He is your strength, your sword and your shield and that He will make a way where there seems to be no way, as you keep your eyes on Him and give Him all the glory.
