Give to anyone who asks, is generosity after God’s own heart

Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back. Lk 6:30. This is speaking about a heart of generosity, a heart after God’s own. When someone asks you, be ready to give, be the blessing someone needs. There is no greater witness to our faith, than when our faith materialises into the way we deal with others, as it reveals Jesus to a lost and hurting world. There are so many people in need and when we can be the difference in someone’s life in time, money or some other way, we are glorifying God. The more you give, the more you will receive, God is a debtor to no man. Follow your heart, with people living on the streets, there are opportunities to give each day, give food rather than money if you are concerned how it will be used. Praise God today that He gave us Jesus to fill the need in our life so that we can be a blessing and meet the needs of other too.
