Giving releases God’s abundance not only in others but also in our own life

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full – pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” Lk 6:38. Giving is about having a right heart attitude. We live in a society that tends to take and keep more than it gives back. If everyone could help just one person no one would need any help. Jesus said as we give, it will come back to us many times over. Giving is God’s way, as we give of our time, finances, and other resources we will be making a difference by releasing God’s love into the lives others. We don’t give to get, but we give to experience the joy of blessing others, and being God’s hands in the moment. Praise God today that He gave us the greatest gift of all, His son Jesus, to reconcile us to Himself so that we can live in His love and hope and be a blessing to others.
