God comforts us so we can be a comfort to others too

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4a. As we place our confidence in God He becomes our peace and comfort in the most difficult times. As we keep our eyes on Him and trust Him, He will still the turbulent waters of our troubled or hurting heart. It's in that stillness that we can rest in His peace knowing that God will turn all bad situations around for the good. As God moves in our life, He wants us to be there for others too, to comfort them and to share with them how God has moved in our life, and that He can also move in the same way in their life too. Praise God today that He is our comfort in the most difficult times, and just as He is there for us, we can also be there for others too, to comfort and strengthen them in the Lord.
