God desires that we are quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. James 1:19-20.

God desires that we have ears to hear. Often we can think we've heard something because we presume we know the facts, or make our own assumptions that can lead to more arguments and eventual breakdowns in relationships. We have two ears and one mouth, so we should use them in that proportion. When we are slow to speak, we give ourselves time to provide a reasoned response rather than an inflamed emotional reaction. As we allow ourselves time to process what we've heard, God can also speak to our heart at that time and guide our response. Ask God to give you the wisdom you need in every situation. Praise God today that He is with us in every situation guiding our words as we wait on Him.

Want to get involved?Contact us

Come and join us on the streets on a Saturday to see if this is something you would like to become involved with.

We hold regular training days to ensure everyone who ministers on the streets is given the training they require.

If street evangelism is not your calling we also need intercessors to pray for the teams as well as website and admin assistance.

Thanks, we will be intouch soon.
