God’s Word is the final word
But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say,.. Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say… Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say,… Mat 4a,7a,10b. When Jesus was tempted by satan, he kept referring back to the Word as the ultimate authority on the situations He was facing. We must also use the Word as our anchor point and follow Jesus’s example. Reason can be dangerous as we can sometimes unwittingly justify our actions due to our circumstances, and then find ourselves having to deal with even worse situations later. With the love of God in our heart, the Word will become our strength in dealing with difficult situations as we know God’s Word is true and His Word is there to protect us and to guide us. Thank God for His guiding Word today. As we look to God’s Word each day we will find the strength we need to deal with the temptations of life and to live a victorious life in all situations.
